The North Island is rich in people that are internationally acclaimed Artisans who have chosen to live in the Northern Vancouver Island region.

Gordon Henschel was a school teacher that decided to pursue his dream and passion for painting. It is easy to imagine that most of us North Islanders have at least one "Henschel" in our home.
