Fresh Water Fishing in the Kak
Wei Ken River
Knight
Inlet, Thompson Sound
The Kak Wei Ken River flows into Thompson Sound which is right
next to Knight Inlet, famous for it's grizzly bears, on the
British Columbia mainland about 300 miles from Vancouver,
British Columbia, Canada. From Campbell River on Vancouver
Island, a 45 minute floatplane ride will put you right in
the middle of nature.
Your main guide is Trapper Rick
He's been a part of the Kak Wei Ken River for the past 13
years. His enthusiasm for the river is incomparable to anyone.
The trip is worth coming just to meet him and hear his stories
and the unique way he tells them. This is a family friendly
experience so bring the kids; they'll never forget this adventure!
Four Days,
3 Nights Eco Tour (Fishing, Wildlife and Wilderness)
$2500 CDN per person
Includes transportation,
guide, meals, accommodation...
Your own private guide, Trapper Rick, will escort you to the
'HOT' spots on the river and crystal clear pools. As you cast
your line with the flick of your wrist into the legendary
Kak Wei Ken River, the wild salmon strike hard at your lure
starting the fight of man verse fish. The "playing"
can go on for as long as an hour depending on the size of
your catch, but it does often happened. There is no comparison
to wild salmon in an untamed river. Fishing is pristine all
summer long.
