Ready for a trip that is a little
more challenging?
These
8 day expeditions will expose us to some of the best kayaking
that British Columbia has to offer.
How do these expeditions differ form our regular tours? On
our regular tours we generally paddle 4 to 5 hours each day.
On our Intermediate Paddler Expedition we will generally
paddle about 6 hours each and every day and at a faster pace
than our regular tours. The conditions that we may paddle
in can be more challenging than our regular tours; long open
crossings, long distances of coastline where landing may not
be possible, large ocean swell, surf and tidal currents. If
conditions allow we generally set one day of the expeditions
aside just for playing in the surf.
On our regular tours we have a maximum of 8 guests and experience
is not necessary.
For
our Intermediate Paddler Expedition we have a maximum
of 6 guests and experience
is necessary. The food and equipment provided is of the same
quality and quantity as our regular tours and all meals are
still prepared by your guides. To allow us to spend more of
our
day on the water all expedition participants are expected
to contribute more to the duties around camp to speed up the
process of breaking and setting up camp.
