This day tour starts in either Port Hardy or Victoria.
It is conveniently scheduled to accommodate BC Ferry foot
passengers sailing between Port Hardy and Prince Rupert. Drop-offs
& Pick-ups may also be prearranged
for the
Qualicum Train Station and Painters Lodge
in Campbell River.

to Port Hardy: depart approx 8:00 a.m.
After your Victoria
hotel pick up (see list below), this tour departs northbound
on the Island Highway. The first stop is at the Brentwood
Bay Scenic pull-out; after this your journey continues to
Duncan where you will view Totem Poles. Next is Chemainus
"The City of Murals"; this is a 40 minute attraction
stop over. Back on to the coach and we travel "up island"
to Coombs Market; this attraction was made famous by the goats
grazing on the roof of the building. Here you have a 1-hour
lunch break (cost not included in tour). After this stop we
will follow the scenic route along the ocean shoreline through
Qualicum Beach and then continue our travel north on the Island
Highway past Campbell River to Sayward where we have a15 minute
"coffee break" stop at a unique building made of
logging cable. The tour ends by arriving in Port Hardy around
6:00 p.m. when you will be dropped off at local hotels (see
list below). The next morning passengers taking the ferry
to Prince Rupert will be transferred from their hotels to
the BC Ferry terminal.

to Victoria: depart approx 8:00 a.m.
For passengers arriving
on the BC Ferry from Prince Rupert, this tour will pick you
up at the ferry terminal and deliver you
to your hotel. You tour starts the next morning.
Departing Port Hardy
and traveling south bound your first stop will be at a unique
historical coffee shop in Sayward. After this 15 minute stop
your tour will continue on past Campbell River and Courtenay,
then along the "old highway" that travels along
the shoreline through quaint Qualicum Beach. We will be stopping
at the Coombs Public Market for a 1 one lunch break (lunch
cost not included in tour). Here you will enjoy the shops
and see goats grazing on the roof (believe it!). After lunch
the the tour follows the island highway to Parksville then
on the scenic route to Chemainus"The City of Murals".
Here you will have a 40 minute stop to enjoy the shops and
attractions. Next we travel through Duncan "The City
of Totem poles. The final journey of this tour is traveling
over the Malahat drive to Victoria, BC, City of Flowers and
the capital city of British Columbia. Arriving at Victoria
around 5:45 p.m. Enjoy!
